 We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Turf & Commercial Product Manager.  You will support the Group Sales Managers for both Australia and New Zealand with turf and commercial business objectives, inventory management, specialist knowledge, customer relationships and marketing. You will be passionate and committed to our current and future success in the ever-changing world of work.  

Ideally the successful candidate will reside within two hours of Melbourne Airport given the New Zealand travel requirements.

What does the role look like?

  • Assists with developing the annual Sales Department goals and reviews/communicates progress regularly
  • Determines and manages stocking levels based on annual sales goals, equipment availability, product changes and market trends
  • Acts as a group resource for advanced product knowledge across this product segment
  • Attends training and then facilitates training to communicate learnings to sales consultants
  • Participates in demonstration events
  • Acts as the key account manager for large, predominately turf & commercial equipment customers with operations across multiple regions
  • Collaborates with the Service and Parts departments to offer product solutions that meet the customer’s needs.
  • Assists with developing marketing material including point of sale materials, catalogues and social media content
  • Manages ongoing relationships with supplier personnel 

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years equipment sales experience 
  • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
  • Proven ability to inspire and coach others
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to use John Deere computer applications and tools
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications
  • Commitment for extensive travel
