Our Ballarat branch is looking for an exceptional individual to join our service department as a Field Service Advisor.  

Key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:

  • Schedule field service repairs and monitor progress to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Assign repairs to appropriate field service technicians
  • Provide excellent customer service and timely feedback of work in progress.
  • Respond to urgent breakdown requests.
  • Prepare quotations for repairs.
  • Liaise with the Spare Parts Department for the supply of parts for service and repair work.
  • Address and resolve customer disputes, in conjunction with the Service Manager.
  • Prepare and finalise warranty and customer repair orders conjunction with Service Admin
  • Proactively assist other team members in achieving the branch's objectives.
  • Mentor, lead and develop younger staff and apprentices.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a service advisor in a Dealership environment (Agricultural or Automotive).
  • Excellent customer service focus and dedicated work ethic.
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Solid communications skills with internal and external customers.
  • Superior time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Suite Applications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of agricultural equipment will be highly regarded.
  • Trade Qualified Agricultural, Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Current drivers licence.
