A message to our customers on COVID-19

cervus-store-front_0006
Dear Cervus Customers,

At Cervus Equipment, we take great pride in being your dealership and service center of choice and continuing to support you through these uncertain times is our top priority. In response to the growing concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share what we are doing to protect you and your businesses as well as our employees.

We understand the important role we play in keeping your business moving forward and for that reason our locations will be operating, business as usual. We consider our Agriculture, Transportation and Material Handling teams to be critical services, essential for food production and transportation of essential goods in the supply chain, necessary for everyday life.  With the seeding and growing season upon us and over-the-road transportation vital in these uncertain times, we want to assure you that we are here to provide solutions and support in those endeavours.

We are balancing the needs of our customers with protecting against the spread of coronavirus.  We wanted to share with you some of the critical actions we are taking to deliver quality support while reducing risks of spreading the virus:

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE. While we love to interact with our customers in person, we will be encouraging our employees to interact by phone where possible. We will endeavour to keep our store locations open through this crisis while supporting the health of our employees. Many of our locations are isolated in rural communities which improves our ability to isolate from the spread of this virus. Each of our divisions will be reaching out to you directly with additional options you have to interact with us online and remotely.
  • SANITATION. Our janitorial staff and employees have been instructed to increase their focus on disinfecting high-touch surfaces within our offices and dealership. At this time, we have adequate cleaning supplies to ensure a safe environment for both our employees and our customers. We also have put a hold on in-store self-serve food options.
  • EMPLOYEES’ HEALTH. Our team members are prohibited from reporting to work without self-quarantine and doctor’s certification if they have been exposed to a COVID-19 patient, if they have traveled outside Canada or have taken a cruise. As a company, we have also paused all non-essential business travel, employee gatherings and in-store events.

We also encourage you to take preventative measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, protecting the health of yourself and your loved ones.

We appreciate and thank you for your continued loyalty. We are grateful you’ve entrusted us to keep your business moving forward and we remain committed to providing you with the exceptional support you’ve come to expect.

Our hearts and thoughts are with those affected by this global pandemic. We are closely monitoring this evolving situation, and we will continue to update you with any changes to our company policies.

Thank you for your loyalty and understanding.

Sincerely,

Angela Lekatsas - President and CEO
