Our Saskatoon, SK branch has an exceptional opportunity for a summer student (someone enrolled in an agriculture related program or a recent graduate) to join our Precision Agriculture team for the summer (May 31 to September 3, 2021).

What does the role look like?

  • Learning the John Deere operations centre
  • Visiting customers to educate them on the JD Operations centre, the benefits and to sign them up (along with educating our staff too)
  • Supporting the Precision Agriculture Specialists within the region (learning data optimization, cold calling and field visits)

What are we looking for?

  • Enrolled in an agriculture related program (Agribusiness, Techgronomy, Crop Technology, Data Science or GIS)
  • Familiar with the agriculture industry (ex. growing up on a farm or working in the agriculture space) and agriculture technology
  • Outgoing personality and comfortable with public speaking
  • Experience with John Deere Operations Centre would be a HUGE plus but not required
  • Must have a valid driver license and reliable vehicle
