Due to our success and growth over the years across Saskatchewan, we are opening a new TRP Transportation parts location (Truck and Trailer for all makes and models) in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan by September 1, 2021 (we are looking to hire candidates for July 2021 and training them up prior to the opening date) and we are looking for an exceptional Parts Supervisor to join our team.

Reporting to the Products Support Manager - Parts for Saskatchewan, you will supervise the parts department to deliver customer satisfaction through effective processes and trained staff. You will also set expectations regarding customer service standards, train and monitor staff performance to help ensure we are providing our customers with the best solution to get them back to work.

What does the role look like?

  • As a member of the parts leadership team, you will help translate Transportation division priorities into parts department objectives
  • Develop strategies to bring in new parts customers and grow relationships
  • Drive our aspiration of high customer satisfaction by implementing and executing sound processes and procedures and ensuring our parts team is knowledgeable of those processes and products
  • Identify reoccurring issues and collaborating with employees and fellow managers to provide high value customer solutions
  • Live our value of safety first by ensuring a safe workplace by complying with safety and environmental policies, standards and regulations
  • Create high but achievable performance standards and hold yourself and others accountable to those standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Expected to travel during the training period


What are we looking for?

  • Proven ability and experience of operational processes for a parts department
  • Understands the financial and operating parameters of the department and how they relate to overall performance
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining a competent, engaged and productive workforce, including, workforce planning, recruiting and developing staff
  • Minimum 1-2 years proven experience in a leadership role (as a Parts Manager, Parts Supervisor or Parts Lead hand)
  • Previous experience managing a startup will be an asset
  • Experience working with P&L/financial statements an asset but not a must have
