Our programs cover the basic principles of construction and materials handling equipment operation, maintenance and safety. Courses start with a theory portion followed by a half-day of hands-on practical training and final test. A certification for the Operator Equipment Safety Certification is provided to students after successful completion of theory and practical assessments. 

Cervus Equipment Safety Training meets and exceeds safety standards across Canada with OH&S and CSA compliance. Our Training Centers are located in Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer and Fort McMurray, Alberta; Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Winnipeg, Manitoba.

In-Class. Cervus Equipment has over 10 training centers throughout Western Canada. Our certified trainers host regularly scheduled construction and materials handling equipment training classes on a wide breadth models.

Our materials handling courses offer hands-on, practical training to allow time for students to become familiar with equipment controls and demonstrate proper operating procedures. Hands-on training helps students develop the skills in pre-use inspections, start up, operating assessment, maneuverability, parking, refueling and shut down.
All Cervus Equipment construction and materials handling equipment courses are Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Canadian Safety Association (CSA) compliant. By meeting safety standards nationwide, Cervus Equipment provides students an understanding of the safe operation at a federal, provincial and individual company policy level as well as a review of employer, supervisor and coworker health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.
