Meet Cervus Equipment's executive management team.
Ms. Lekatsas was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2019. Prior to assuming this executive position, Ms. Lekatsas served as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Cervus Equipment since 2013. Ms. Lekatsas brings a wealth of finance and operational experience in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Mining and Distribution through numerous leadership positions in a growth-oriented commodity based public company.
In addition to her CEO responsibilities, Ms. Lekatsas currently maintains direct operational oversight of the Transportation and Industrial divisions.
Ms. Lekatsas is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition, Ms. Lekatsas holds the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D designation from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management.
Adam Lowther is the Chief Financial Officer of Cervus Equipment Corporation. Mr. Lowther joined Cervus in 2013, and was formerly the company’s Director of Finance. Prior to joining Cervus, he held management roles in valuation and finance in both public practice and the private sector.
Mr. Lowther is a designated Chartered Accountant, Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
Scott joined Cervus in January 2016 as General Manager, Agriculture Saskatchewan. Scott is a seasoned executive with prior leadership experience as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Siemens Transportation Group and President, Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of the Yanke Group of Companies.
In Scott’s time with Cervus, he has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the organization and has clearly demonstrated his leadership capabilities illustrated by Cervus Ag Saskatchewan qualifying for John Deere’s Leaders Club for the first time since its inception in 2002 and being recognized as the number #1 John Deere Dealer Group in 2018.
Mr. Mylrea joined Cervus Equipment in April 2018 as Corporate Counsel and was appointed Corporate Counsel and Corporate Secretary in December 2018.
Prior to joining Cervus Equipment Corporation, Mr. Mylrea was a law partner and barrister & solicitor in private legal practice with a focus on commercial transactions, corporate reorganizations, lending and real property. Mr. Mylrea worked closely with Cervus Equipment in a professional capacity for over 10 years.
Mr. Mylrea is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association and the Alberta General Counsel Association.
Tim Ormrod was appointed Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand Agriculture in July 2019. With a passion for agriculture and business operations, Tim has been involved in operations management for the past 7 years; initially as a Branch Manager in New Zealand and more recently as General Manager, Sales and Marketing in Australia.
Under his leadership the business has experienced significant growth in market share and return on sales as well as maximizing profitability and minimizing expenses.
Tim is a qualified Chartered Accountant and began his career with Cervus in March 2012 to assist with our expansion into New Zealand and Australia.
