Meet Cervus Equipment's executive management team.
Ms. Lekatsas was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2019. Prior to assuming this executive position, Ms. Lekatsas served as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Cervus Equipment since 2013. Ms. Lekatsas brings a wealth of finance and operational experience in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Mining and Distribution through numerous leadership positions in a growth-oriented commodity based public company.
Ms. Lekatsas is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition, Ms. Lekatsas holds the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D designation from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management.
Adam Lowther is the Chief Financial Officer of Cervus Equipment Corporation. Mr. Lowther joined Cervus in 2013, and was formerly the company’s Director of Finance. Prior to joining Cervus, he held management roles in valuation and finance in both public practice and the private sector.
Mr. Lowther is a designated Chartered Accountant, Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
Ms. Cosby is the Vice President of People at Cervus Equipment Corporation. She has held leadership positions for more than 25 years in agriculture, financial, transportation and chemical industries. Stella joined Cervus Equipment Corporation in 2014. Prior to, Ms. Cosby was a Senior Director with Agrium Inc.
She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Systems Renewal from Antioch University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from the University of Calgary.
Ms. Cosby is on the Board of Directors for CES Energy Solutions Corporation and is a former Board Member of Savanna Energy Services Corporation. She is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Education Program.
Fred Hnatiw has more than 25 years working as a leader in agriculture, oil and gas and retail industries. Mr. Hnatiw was appointed to Vice President, Operations, Transportation and Industrial in 2017 after serving as Vice President, Commercial and Industrial since 2013. Prior to joining Cervus Equipment Corporation, Fred worked as an Operations Manager at SMS Equipment.
Mr. Hnatiw obtained a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a designated Charter Director (C.Dir.) through the Directors College and holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership Coaching from the International Coach Federation.
Cal Johnson was appointed Vice President of Operations, Agriculture Canada of Cervus Equipment Corporation in 2017. He was previously Vice President, Operations, Transportation, and Director, Business Development. Prior to joining Cervus Equipment Corporation in 2000, Mr. Johnson held several leadership positions with John Deere Ltd.
A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program.
